ONSLAUGHT European Tour 'Going Ahead As Planned'
May 2, 2008Contrary to a statement that was released yesterday by Swedish thrashers CARNAL FORGE suggesting that the group's "Horns Up Festival Tour 2008" with headliners ONSLAUGHT alongside SUICIDAL ANGELS and EUFOBIA may have been cancelled again, ONSLAUGHT has reassured fans that the tour will go ahead (albeit presumably without CARNAL FORGE).
Commented ONSLAUGHT: "There is no absolutely no problem with the 'Horns Up' tour and everything is going ahead as planned. First show tonight in Baia Mare [Romania] was totally awesome and the fans were absolutely fantastic. ONSLAUGHT are looking forward to the rest of the tour and seeing the fans."
ONSLAUGHT recently confirmed the departure of guitarist Alan Jordan. A replacement axeman has already been recruited in the shape of "awesome new shredder" Andy Rosser-Davies.
ONSLAUGHT's new album, "Killing Peace", was released in March 2007 via Candlelight Records. The CD was recorded at Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England with producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE).
Metal Mind Productions released ONSLAUGHT's "Live Polish Assault" DVD in a special DVD+CD limited swing case edition on March 3 in Europe (May 13 in the U.S. via MVD).
